Our Professional Staff:

Dr. Mike Thompson, Pastor 

Mike was born in Whiteville, NC, August 1, 1953. He was born again at age 11. He married Rebecca Pait, August 16, 1976. They have two children: Laura Rich, married to Wesley; and Kristen Thompson.

Mike’s education includes: BA in Religion from Campbell University (1974), M. Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (1978) and D. Min from Southeastern (1986). He is also a congregational coach with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. His hobbies include playing guitar, bass, and keyboard and he loves to read.

Rev. Angie Partin, Associate Pastor for Children & Youth

 Angie worked as a nurse for eighteen years prior to coming on staff. She felt the call to full time ministry while volunteering as youth leader. A native of Duplin County, Angie lives with her family in Wallace. She and her husband Tom are the parents of two boys, Eric and Matthew.

Angie’s education includes: BS in Nursing from the University of North Carolina (1983) and Master of Divinity from Campbell University (2002). Her hobbies include reading, watching movies, being a “sports mom,” singing, and piano.

Erin Pritchard, Ministry Assistant

Erin came to North Carolina from Texas in 2003. She served 3.5 years as an active duty Air Force Officer at Seymour Johnson AFB and continues to serve in the Air Force Reserve. She accepted Christ and became a member of Kenansville Baptist Church in May 2004. She is married to J.B. Pritchard and they have two daughters, Elizabeth and Hannah.

Erin’s education includes: BS in Political Science from Texas A&M University (2002) and a Master in Business Administration from Fayetteville State University (2007). Her hobbies include gardening, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
